Context Window VRAM Calculator is a free informational utility that estimates KV-cache memory, resident model-weight memory, runtime reserve, total VRAM, and maximum context from the values you enter. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features without guaranteeing continued availability.
Estimates are not hardware guarantees
Results depend on model configs, quantization formats, cache implementation, allocator behavior, parallelism, GPU drivers, runtime versions, workspace needs, offload, and other processes. Presets can become outdated or differ from a model variant with a similar name.
A calculated fit does not guarantee that a model supports the chosen context, avoids out-of-memory errors, meets latency targets, or produces useful output at that length.
Acceptable use
You may use the website for lawful personal and business planning. You may not:
- interfere with the site, infrastructure, security, or other users;
- use automated traffic in a way that degrades availability;
- misrepresent calculator estimates as certified benchmarks or guarantees;
- attempt to extract secrets or access nonpublic systems; or
- use the service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Intellectual property
The site design, explanatory text, and original implementation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Model names, runtimes, products, and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. Reference to them does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Third-party content and links
Presets and methodology may link to Hugging Face, GitHub, Ollama, LMCache, model publishers, or other third parties. Their content, availability, licenses, and accuracy are outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing applicable model and software terms.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, hardware purchases, cloud costs, or deployment failures arising from use of or reliance on the website.
